A brand new Grand daughter
Yes, it finally happened, Miss Brooke Irene Dunkin was born on May 25th, 2009 at 5 pounds 11 ounces. She is gorgeous, like her Mom and healthy as can be. Bryan and Lesley are now the proud parents of what will most likely turn out to be the north's youngest fisherman.
It has taken from then till now for me to figure out this new format for the blog. Now everyone can add their comments and get them posted easily.
The weather has been very strange in all of June and so far in July too. Rainy, then sunny, then rainy again, all in the same hour. Temperatures have been below seasonal by up to 10 degrees. But, it looks like it has finally come to an end as of tomorrow with lots of sun shine and increased warmer temperatures.
The grass has been to wet to mow and some areas could really use the help of a farmers cows or goats and wouldn't you know it, the John Deere decided to blow a belt. That should be fixed tomorrow if it gets here on time. That's the drawback of living in paradise, everything needs to be ordered from a good distance away. Even getting milk home is a chore to keep cold sometimes.
But enough crying over un-spilt milk, everything is looking rosy and guests will be pouring in again this week, just in time for some really great weather.
The fishing has been extra great so far which is odd with all the rain. Maybe they are just tired of eating things that get washed into the lakes and rivers from land. I mean how many worms and bugs can one fish take?
See some of you later and have fun down there in the blazing heat????
Thanks, Ed
