DINING Pleasures at Lost Lake Wilderness Lodge
Escaping the stresses of daily living usually means getting rid of all kitchen duties too. Enjoying great food and warm hospitality in the dining room is a large part of most peoples vacation plans at Lost Lake each year.
We take pride in that we cook "Sunday Dinner" every night of the week. Judy's own large organic vegetable gardens supply the kitchen with fresh picked vegetables and berries, when in season. Fresh cut herbs from her own herb garden are a favorite addition too......MMMMmmmm.

MENU
Breakfast: served between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m.
The beginning of each day starts off right in the Dining Room at Lost Lake. Farm fresh eggs, any way you'd like them, bacon, sausages, ham or on another day, French Toast or Belgian Waffles or pancakes and of course home baked muffins. Juice and cereal is always ready and the coffee pot is always fresh brewed. Tea is for the asking too. All bread items are also home baked........... of course.
Lunch: packed
Variety of sandwiches on home baked bread, homemade baked goods, fruit and soda or bottled water. Or ask us for a shore lunch kit equipped with everything you need to cook up your catch, even the potatoes and beans.
Dinners: served between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Dinner is the absolute highlight in the lodge dining room each day. A typical entree might be succulent roast beef with all the trimmings, tasty roasted turkey with the potatoes and onions placed just so in the roasting pan absorbing that great flavor. Another night might be a steak B B Q, roasted ham or pork, and something brand new this year.......beer can chicken, you will not believe the flavor of this taste teaser. There is always a pasta night mid week, a great favorite with everyone because the sauce is of course....homemade by Judy. Can you just imagine coming into the lodge at day's end....starving.... and catching the kitchen smells drifting down the shoreline. Its definitely enough to start a stampede to the table.
The next days menu is posted daily in the dining room. If for any reason that night's offering is not to your liking, a separate dinner will be made for you.... with advance notice.
Missing dinner is not a problem. Your supper will be delivered and waiting to be heated in your cottage whenever you get back. No need to miss a great fishing opportunity just because it's late, right?
